INFORMATION NOTICE FOR EMPLOYEE CANDIDATES WHOSE PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED DURING THE JOB APPLICATION PROCESS

This Personal Data Information Notice has been prepared in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) for the purpose of informing you, the employee candidates applying for a job, regarding the collection, processing, transfer of your personal data, and your rights within the scope of the Law.

As ARCON KOZMETİK SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, registered with MERSIS number 0073009009900018 and located at Maslak Mah. AOS 55. Sk. 42 Maslak A Blok No: 2 İç Kapı No: 238 Sarıyer / İstanbul (“Company” or “We”), we act as the data controller and process the information that identifies you (“your personal data”).

As the company, we generally process the personal data listed below during job application processes in accordance with the principles set out in Article 4 of the Law: (a) being processed lawfully and in good faith; (b) being accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; (c) being processed for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes; (d) being relevant, limited and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed; and (e) being retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purposes for which they are processed.

The personal data specified below is of a general nature. However, if you include any other personal data in your CV or résumé documents submitted through the job application interface on our website, we would like to note that this data will also be processed within the scope of the purposes indicated herein.

Contact Information	Data that allows us to contact you, such as address, phone number, and email address
Professional Experience Information	School you attended, other education and certification information, and past work experience
Visual and Audio Recordings	Photo (if you add it)
Personal Information	Position information you applied for, resume information

 

2. How Do We Collect and Process Your Personal Data?

The personal data subject to this information notice are collected and processed, in whole or in part, by automated means electronically through the application form located under the “Career” tab on our corporate website at www.arconkozmetik.com.tr.

3. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Collecting and Processing Your Personal Data

The above-mentioned personal data are processed for the purposes of receiving, evaluating and finalising job applications submitted to the company, including carrying out employee candidate/intern/student selection and placement processes and conducting employee candidate application processes.

In this context, your personal data are processed based on the following legal grounds stipulated under Article 5(2) of the Law:

Article 5/2(f): “It is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed,” and

Article 5/2(d): “Where the personal data have been made public by the data subject.”

Within the scope of the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data are processed by our Company and are not shared with third parties.

   As the Company, we take all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure an appropriate level of security in order to prevent the unlawful processing of your personal data, to prevent unlawful access to your personal data, and to safeguard the preservation of your personal data. Your personal data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by our Company within six (6) months following the elimination of the reasons requiring the processing of personal data or upon your request.

   Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• To learn whether personal data are being processed,
• If personal data have been processed, to request information regarding such processing,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
• To request the correction of personal data if they are incomplete or inaccurate,
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
• To request that the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data be notified to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against the data subject by means of the exclusive analysis of processed data through automated systems,
• To request compensation for damages in case of suffering damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
